JobsDB sponsors UP concert that rekindled young peoples love of patriotism

On February 14, 2010, thousands flocked the UP Sunken Garden and became part of history with Loverage4: Illumine Nation, the first ever UP Fair. In light of the upcoming 2010 national election, the concert aimed to enlighten the youth about their socio-political responsibilities and rekindle their love and respect for the nation through a night of music and other activities JobsDB.com participated as its official online media sponsor.

An exclusive performance was given by Rico Blanco, a singer well-known for his patriotic advocacy through music, while scintillating fireworks from the amusement center. Enchanted Kingdom illumined the skies by midnight.

The 4th installment of the legendary Loverage series, Illumine Nation was again one of the most attended nights of the UP Fair. Aside from Rico Blanco, alumni UP musicians like Ebe Dancel of Sugarfree and Raymund Marasigan of Sandwich also graced the concert with their respective bands. Staple UP Fair acts like Silent Sanctuary, Itchyworms, Callalily, Imago, Pedicab, Soap Dish and Delara also performed in front of the audience, enthralling them.

Loverage4: Illumine Nation was a collaborative effort of Adelfe Enu Crea Sorority and Pan Xenia Fraternity in cooperation with UP Circuit and UP 49ers. The head sorority and fraternity groups were also the same organizations which brought UP students the first three installments of the Loverage series—Loverage: Spread the Love, Not the Virus (2007), Loverage2: Outloud (2008) and Loverage3: Break the Curse (2009).
