JOBSDB JOINS PASIG CITY JOB FAIR JobsDB Phils, Inc. partnered with the Office of the Mayor in Pasig City to join the job fair of its Philippine Employment Service Office (PESO), bringing work opportunities to the residents and workers of the city. The one-day job fair held last June 30 was a turning point because it introduced online job-hunting to the participants. Almost 2100 people had a look at (as well as a chance to apply for) the job opportunities offered by 86 companies, 77 local and 9 international. People from all walks of life - from the well-heeled to the so-called "bakya" crowd - had a chance to apply for the hottest jobs in town when JobsDB participated in the First Philippine Job Congress last June 5-6 at the SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City. With the mall crowd estimated at 4,000, breaking class, age, and gender barriers, JobsDB's client companies had even greater access to a wide range of jobseekers and professionals seeking greener pastures. In fulfillment of its mission and vision to bring together employers and jobseekers from throughout the Philippines, JobsDB Phils, Inc. participated in JOB FIESTA MINDANAO, a job fair organized by the Office of Senator Mar Roxas last March 14-15 at Davao City. More than 1,500 people attended, and more than 500 resumes were collected.
