| JobsDB.com and Informatics establish partnership | ||||||

JobsDB.com welcomes Informatics SM City Cebu Center as the newest Campus Partner of JobsDB Campus Network. JobsDB Campus Network seeks to establish partnerships with higher educational institutions to provide career opportunities. In line with this, as JobsDB’s Campus Partner, Informatics will be provided with interactive advertising channels, Career development services, promos & event partnership, and career placement services to offer an avenue for career development on IT industry. Informatics Philippines and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) has partnered to bring free skills training under the Pangulong GMA Scholarship program. TESDA has also been a partner with JobsDB in offering job opportunities for their graduates and is currently doing job fairs all over the country to help alleviate the employment problems in the Philippines. Courses being offered by the PGMA Scholarship program include Call Center training, Web Design & Development, and Programming. The Project hopes to provide skills and competencies to job seekers through appropriate training programs that are directly connected to existing jobs for immediate employment and to empower private education and training institutions to offer relevant training programs that meet job requirements. | The 1st Cebu Youth Assembly on HIV and AIDS | ||||||

Youth AIDS Filipinas Alliance (YAFA) Central Visayas Chapter, upon its realization early 2009, jumpstarted its pilot project 1st YAFA Cebu Youth Assembly on HIV&AIDS (YAHA CYAHA) on August 18 at the Cebu Normal University. This event was co-organized by CNU Nightingale Student Council, Cebu Youth Center, Inc., Rotaract Club of Metro Cebu - Community Based and It's OK To Ask for Help, Inc., with the special participation of JobsDB.com and Ako Mismo. The advocacy aims to create awareness on HIV and AIDS –its symptoms, causes and effects.

| TESDA Jobs Bridging and Internship Fair | ||||||
Caraga Region, June 26, 2009 Proclaimed by TESDA Undersecretary Roger Peyuan as the most organized Jobs Bridging and Internship event ever, 4,300 attendees from Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Dinagat islands and Cagayan de Oro City stood witnesses to the success of the said event held at the Balanghai Hotel, Butuan City on June 26. The event utilized the use of the paperless system powered by JobsDB.com. Previous events with TESDA that were also powered by JobsDb Philippines Inc were Jobs Bridging & Internship Programs in the following locations: Dasmarinas Cavite, San Fernando Pampanga, Legaspi City, Davao City, PICC Pasay City and Parkmall, Cebu City. Schedules are still being arranged for other locations for the said project.
